The conception of Viveros Resort & Club began as an idea of the company's visionary leader, Michel Soutiran. Michel's passion for flying lead him on a journey to find a private island capable of having a runway and its own airport, with ample room to accommodate world-class amenities that will make it a complete vacation destination. The goal was to offer amenities such as a full-service marina, a championship golf course, a luxurious beach club and as much ocean front villas as possible, so residents could own a view to the water.

His search took him all over the world, through different countries in Europe, the Caribbean and Latin America. Michel finally spotted an island, 40 miles off the coast of Panama, where this lush and tropical strip of paradise cradled by the waters of the Pacific providing the perfect opportunity to create the most unique island retreat in the world. With painstaking attention to detail and environmental integrity, Soutiran and his team set out to redefine an island living in the Pearl Island archipelago.

Joined by his partners from France and Luxembourg, Soutiran and his team constituted Viveros Resort & Residences, S.A., have ensured the sustainability of the company's vision by acquiring the land free of any debt, and investing a substantial amount of money to developed a state-of-the-art infrastructure, that included in its initial phase the development of water and sewer, electricity and high-speed internet; and already under construction in its founder's phase a full-service marina with capacity for 300 slips, an ocean front beach club and the completion of the first phase of the airport and several estate homes overlooking the Pacific ocean.
